Cookies Policy – Brand Boost 2027

Web page www.wedesign.pl/brandboost · We Design Studio Graficzne Aleksander Rokicki

§1. General information

1. This Cookies Policy sets out the rules for using cookies and similar technologies on the web page www.wedesign.pl/brandboost (the "Page"), operated by We Design Studio Graficzne Aleksander Rokicki, ul. Toeplitza 2/48, 01-560 Warsaw, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 951-184-66-07 ("we", "us").

2. This Cookies Policy supplements the Brand Boost 2027 Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data are processed, including the rights of data subjects.

3. For any matters relating to cookies, please contact us at studio@wedesign.pl.

§2. What cookies and similar technologies are

1. Cookies are small text files that a browser saves on the User’s device (computer, phone, tablet). They may be "session" cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or "persistent" cookies (stored for a set period). They may be set by the operator of the Page ("first-party") or by third parties whose tools are embedded on the Page ("third-party").

2. Browser storage (sessionStorage, localStorage) is a mechanism that allows a website to save data directly in the browser without sending it to a server. Data in sessionStorage is deleted when the tab is closed.

3. Tracking pixels and tags are small pieces of code (e.g. a JavaScript script or an invisible 1×1 px image) embedded on the Page which, once loaded, send information about the visit to a third party (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn) and may set or read that party’s cookies.

4. In the remainder of this Policy, all of the above technologies are referred to collectively as "cookies".

§3. Legal basis and consent

1. Storing information on the User’s device, or gaining access to it, requires the User’s prior consent, unless it is necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the User or for the transmission of a communication itself (Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024).

2. We use essential cookies (§4.1) without consent, on the basis of the above exemption. All other cookies (analytics and marketing) are activated only after consent has been given in the cookie banner displayed on the first visit to the Page. Until consent is given, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are not loaded.

3. Consent is voluntary. Refusing consent does not restrict access to the content of the Page or the ability to submit the application form.

4. To the extent that data collected by cookies constitute personal data, the legal basis for processing them is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, in the case of essential cookies, the legitimate interest of the Page operator in ensuring that the Page functions properly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

§4. Cookies we use

4.1. Essential cookies (no consent required)

Name / technology Provider Purpose Retention period
Draft copy of the form (sessionStorage) We Design (first-party) The application form keeps a draft copy of the answers entered in the browser’s memory (sessionStorage) only while the form is being completed, so that the data are not lost if, for example, the User follows another link and returns to the form. The copy is not sent anywhere and exists only in the User’s browser. Until the application is submitted or the browser tab is closed
CookieConsent Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S) Remembers the choices the User made in the cookie banner so that the banner is not displayed on every visit. 12 months

4.2. Analytics cookies (consent required)

Analytics cookies help us understand how Users interact with the Page – which sections are read, where visits come from and at which point of the form Users drop off – so that we can improve it. Data are collected as aggregated statistics.

  1. Tool: Google Analytics 4. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
  2. How it works: once consent has been given, the Google Analytics script is loaded on the Page and sends information about the visit to Google: pages viewed, time of visit, traffic source, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and events on the Page (e.g. submitting the form). The IP address is truncated by Google and is not stored. We do not combine Google Analytics data with the data provided in the application form.
  3. Until consent is given, Google Analytics does not set cookies and does not transmit data that could identify the User (Google Consent Mode).
  4. More information: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookie name Purpose Retention period
_ga Distinguishes Users (random identifier) 2 years
ga [wedesign-visitors] Maintains session state and counts visits 2 years

4.3. Marketing cookies (consent required)

Marketing cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of paid campaigns promoting the Project on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook – in particular, to determine how many people visited the Page after seeing an ad and how many of them submitted the application form (a "conversion") – and to show the Project’s ads to people who have visited the Page and to people with a similar profile.

a) Meta Pixel

1. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.

2. How it works: once consent has been given, the Meta Pixel script is loaded on the Page and sends information about events on the Page to Meta: page views (PageView) and submission of the application form (the CompleteRegistration event). Together with the event, the following are transmitted, among others: IP address, browser and device information, the address of the page visited, the traffic source and identifiers stored in Meta cookies. If the User is logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link this information to their account.

3. Advanced matching: we do not use advanced matching – the data entered in the form are not transmitted to Meta.

4. More information: www.facebook.com/privacy/policy and www.facebook.com/business/help/471978536642445 (about the Pixel). Ad settings in your Meta account: www.facebook.com/adpreferences.

Cookie name Purpose Retention period
_fbp Identifies the browser for conversion measurement and ad targeting 3 months
_fbc Stores the Meta ad click identifier (fbclid) when the User arrived at the Page from an ad 3 months

b) LinkedIn Insight Tag

1. Provider: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (part of the Microsoft group).

2. How it works: once consent has been given, the LinkedIn Insight Tag script is loaded on the Page and sends information about the visit to LinkedIn (URL, IP address, browser and device information, traffic source, timestamp) and about submission of the application form as a conversion (FormFillBrandBoost). If the User is logged in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn may link the visit to their account and provide us with aggregated, anonymous demographic statistics about visitors to the Page (e.g. industry, job title, company size) – without identifying individual persons.

3. More information: www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy and www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy. To opt out of interest-based advertising: www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.

Cookie name Purpose Retention period
li_fat_id Indirect User identifier for conversion measurement and retargeting 30 days
UserMatchHistory Synchronisation of LinkedIn advertising identifiers 30 days
AnalyticsSyncHistory Stores the time of the last synchronisation with lms_analytics 30 days
bcookie Browser identifier (abuse detection, LinkedIn analytics) 1 year
lidc Routing and optimisation of connections to LinkedIn servers 24 hours
ln_or Determines whether Oribi (LinkedIn) analytics can be run on the page 1 day

§5. Transfers of data outside the EEA

Meta, Google and LinkedIn may transfer data collected by cookies to the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) – with respect to certified entities within the Meta and Microsoft/LinkedIn groups – or on the basis of standard contractual clauses. See §7 of the Brand Boost 2027 Privacy Policy for details.

§6. Managing cookies and withdrawing consent

1. Cookie banner. On the first visit, the User may accept all cookies, reject all cookies other than essential ones, or select individual categories. Both main buttons ("Accept" / "Reject") are equally easy to access.

2. Changing your decision. Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time by selecting the relevant options in the cookie plug-in pop-up (cookie settings). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of actions taken before it was withdrawn, but stops further data collection by marketing cookies. Cookies already set by Meta or LinkedIn can be deleted in your browser settings.

3. Browser settings. Cookies can also be blocked or deleted in your browser settings. Instructions: Chrome – support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647; Firefox – support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies; Safari – support.apple.com/guide/safari/sfri11471; Edge – support.microsoft.com (search: "delete cookies in Microsoft Edge"). Blocking essential cookies may prevent the Page from working properly, including remembering answers in the form.

4. Ad platform settings. Regardless of the settings on the Page, ad personalisation can be limited directly in your Facebook/Instagram account (Ad preferences) and on LinkedIn (Settings → Advertising data).

§7. Changes to this Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy may be updated if the tools we use or the applicable laws change. The current version is always available on the Page. If a change involves adding new cookies that require consent, the cookie banner will be displayed again.
